Kitware APT repo down?

Hello,

I use the kitware apt repository: https://apt.kitware.com/

Just today, I noticed I can no longer run apt-get update.

Others at my company have seen this too on both work and personal machines on different networks.

It’s not down, but the HTTPS cert is for the wrong domain. The error message I get when viewing with Firefox is:

Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

[…]

Websites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for apt.kitware.com. The certificate is only valid for the following names: vtk.org, www.vtk.org Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

So the cert is for vtk.org, not apt.kitware.com. Someone goofed their Let’s Encrypt scripts I guess.

It’s back up now.
