Error in configuration process, project files may be invalid.

I have installed VS 2202. I am using CMake 3.26.2 windows x64 to configure and BRL-CAD. However, I am getting “Error in configuration process, project files may be invalid”. It shows “could not find any instance of Visual Studio”. Please help.

i have the same problem, windows 11, vscode freshly installed (computer was reset after), cmake 3.3.8

CMake 3.3.8 isn’t going to know much about any modern Visual Studio…

I think some workload might need to be present for the VS generators to work. I can’t recall though. I’d suggest searching Discourse; this may have been asked before.
