The new edition of the book Professional CMake: A Practical Guide is now available. It has been updated for the CMake 3.17 release and once again includes a substantial amount of new material. Major highlights for this update include:
- A new chapter on building and deploying Qt applications has been added. It covers the automatic and manual support for
moc,uicandrcc, working with translations and using the deployment tools provided by Qt. - There have been significant improvements to the Apple chapter. New sections have been added covering universal binaries and linking/embedding frameworks. Updates have been made to account for code signing changes in Xcode 11 and more structure has been added to existing sections to make finding information easier.
