For #1, I’ve just realized that presets in the QT app seem to reload automatically every second. The implementation hides the error message if it’s the same as the last, which is why I was confused.
I think disabling this automatic reloading and adding a button to reload it is more intuitive - plus, it means less background JSON parsing for the QT app.
I’ve also had the error message (if there is one) redirect to the output window, in addition to the dialog popup, so it remains after you close the dialog.
I’ll get a merge request open this weekend. Even if we keep the automatic loading, I’d like the output to appear in the console.
