# Should NO\_SET\_AND\_CHECK\_MACRO and NO\_CHECK\_REQUIRED\_COMPONENTS\_MACRO be used with configure\_package\_config\_file?

CMake tutorials uses these options but I can’t find documented motivation to do so. It seems to me that additional checks should be for the best.

What is the recommended best practice and why?
