The new edition of the book _Professional CMake: A Practical Guide_ is now available. It has been updated for the CMake 3.16 release and includes a substantial amount of new material. In particular, a new chapter on build performance has been added, covering not only the new unity build and precompiled header features, but also the use of `ccache`, split dwarf and alternative linkers. The techniques and features discussed can significantly reduce build times and speed up the development cycle.
