# libcurl options with external download

Hi

For downloading external content CMake uses libcurl internally. However is it not possible to specify [custom libcurl options](https://curl.se/libcurl/c/curl_easy_setopt.html) that are otherwise not documented in `file(URL)` or `ExternalProject` for the resulting download?
