Did you ever find a way to solve this?

I recently tried to use `pyenv` and now I’m also running into this issue.

Update, as mentioned in [this other topic](https://discourse.cmake.org/t/finding-pyenv-python-package-using-cmake/3586/3), I found a workaround that worked for me.
