# Developments not visible in Milestones view

Hello,

I like taking a looking in the Milestones view of CMake, to have an idea iof what will be added/fixed: [https://gitlab.kitware.com/cmake/cmake/-/milestones](https://gitlab.kitware.com/cmake/cmake/-/milestones)

Also, it is better than the release notes to have an idea of what has actually been done. It is specially useful for debug releases

But… I am discovering there are issues which are not in this Milestone view.  
Following the release 3.31.0, I got many warnings about CMP0177. I didn’t see anything in the the Milestone view explaining this change. The [related issue](https://gitlab.kitware.com/cmake/cmake/-/issues/26252) was not in the milestone.  
Is there any reason ?

Milestone management is pretty manual at this point. I have [an issue](https://gitlab.kitware.com/utils/ghostflow-director/-/issues/22) to have our robot help out (with [a related sanity check](https://gitlab.kitware.com/utils/rust-ghostflow/-/issues/88)) but have never had the time to work on it.

We do not set milestones on issues all that often. We do rigorously set milestones for each merge request though.
