# cmake not working after update do Big Sur

Thanks @tjayrush! — that was exactly what I was missing. I found the same helpful advice in this [comment by Alan Birtles](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/71659355/cant-find-c-header-files-and-macosx12-1-sdk-through-cmake-in-clion-macos-but#comment126645914_71659355)
