I keep seeing announcements of new CMake versions, but I don’t see either of the issues I’ve fixed in the change logs:

- cmake-gui requires a generator for presets
- file API fix for root directories

The gitlab repository says they were merged into releases, though…

@LegalizeAdulthood the `cmake-gui` change was [CMake MR 11126](https://gitlab.kitware.com/cmake/cmake/-/merge_requests/11126) and included in 4.2.0. The file-api change was [CMake MR 11314](https://gitlab.kitware.com/cmake/cmake/-/merge_requests/11314), scheduled for 4.3.0. Both are bug fixes, which we don’t typically include in release notes. Both are in `.0-rc1` releases, for which no shortlog is added to the release announcements.

On [pypi](https://pypi.org/project/cmake/) only `CMake v4.2.1` is found as newest release?
